Before encountering Christ, Emmanuel lived in addiction and harmful patterns that strained his family and drew him into destructive influences. His parents felt hopeless, and his future seemed without direction. Through the faithful sharing of the Gospel and ongoing discipleship, Emmanuel was introduced to the love of Jesus. As he engaged in Discovery Bible Study and learned about his identity in Christ, the Holy Spirit began to transform his heart. He soon began praying regularly and bringing Bibles into his home. His parents, once discouraged, now point to his life as an example for his siblings. Today, Emmanuel not only inspires his family but also shares the love of Jesus with this family, friends, and community.

Ordinary People. Eternal Impact. Disciple Makers Increase (DMI) trains and coaches believers—especially across Asia, Africa, and Latin America—to multiply disciples and start new churches among people with little or no access to the gospel.
