Before encountering Christ, the Mahbhat people lived isolated from the gospel, with no local believers in their community and limited exposure to Christian teaching or fellowship. In July 2025, four individuals from this community publicly confessed Christ through baptism in the river at Kothiyaghat Bridge. Their bold step of faith marked the first open profession of Jesus in their community, inspiring neighbors and signaling a new chapter of spiritual awakening. Since then, their households gather weekly with about forty worshippers, and two new fellowship groups have been established near the Indian border. Their witness has sparked hope, demonstrating that Christ transforms lives and brings light even to previously unreached communities.
Venture combines church planting and community development to equip local Christian leaders to meet urgent needs and bring the hope of Jesus, so communities can experience generational transformation.
