The Stoller Foundation is committed to empowering Christ-centered organizations to ADVANCE THE GOSPEL and transform lives through Jesus Christ.
The Stoller Foundation invites applications from nonprofit organizations that are advancing the Gospel through evangelism and proclamation initiatives.
This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks ministries that are clearly communicating and sharing the Gospel. Selected programs will align with the Foundation’s mission to LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE, AND EVANGELIZE. Programs should demonstrate clear strategies for Gospel proclamation, outreach to individuals who do not yet know Christ, and measurable spiritual impact.
Online Proposal Submission for a $50,000 Grant
The application process consists of two stages:
Step 1: Complete the Prescreen
Begin by filling out the prescreen questionnaire. If your responses meet the initial criteria, you will be directed to the Letter of Inquiry (LOI), a brief online form requesting general information about your nonprofit.
Step 2: Submit the LOI and Project Proposal
At the end of the LOI, you will be asked to submit your Project Proposal as part of the final step. To complete your submission, you must provide:
- Your organization’s most recent Form 990
- Enter the RFP Code: SF26-002-CLA
Only complete submissions with the RFP code will be considered for funding.
Who Can Apply?
Eligible applicants must:
- Be a first-time applicant to the Stoller Foundation
- Be a recognized nonprofit (e.g., 501(c)(3) in the U.S.)
- Have a strong evangelistic mission focused on Gospel proclamation and evangelistic outreach
- Demonstrate experience in sharing the Gospel with individuals who do not yet know Christ
- Show a proven track record of effective evangelism initiatives
- Mobilize volunteers effectively and align with the Foundation’s emphasis on evangelism
- Have appropriate insurance and policies in place
- Preference will be given to organizations with an operating budget between $500,000 and $5,000,000
Guidelines for Proposal Submissions
Proposals must include the following:
- Executive Summary: A concise overview of the proposed program.
- Organizational Background: Information about the organization’s mission, history, and relevant experience
- Project Approach and Methodology: A clear plan describing how the organization will advance evangelism and Gospel proclamation
- Project Timeline: A detailed schedule from initiation to completion, including key milestones
- Measurable Outcomes: Defined metrics such as Gospel presentations, professions of faith, follow-up, etc.
- Budget and Cost Breakdown: A financial plan detailing how the $50,000 grant will be utilized
- Qualifications and Experience: Details about the relevant experience of executive team members
- References: At least two references from similar projects or evangelical initiatives
Proposals should be clear, concise, and not exceed 10 pages.
Project Description for Proposal Submissions
Proposals should clearly articulate how the organization will proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and intentionally reach individuals who do not yet have a relationship with Him.
Projects should demonstrate:
- Clear strategies for Gospel proclamation
- Intentional outreach to unreached or spiritually seeking individuals
- Opportunities for individuals to respond to the Gospel message
- Tracking of professions of faith and pathway for discipleship or follow-up after new decisions
Evaluation Criteria for Proposals
- Alignment with the Stoller Foundation’s Mission: Emphasis on sharing the Gospel
- Clarity and Feasibility: A well-defined and realistic approach to meeting project objectives
- Organizational Capacity: Demonstrated ability to execute programs and mobilize volunteers effectively
- Sustainability: Strategies for ensuring long-term impact and continuation beyond the grant period
- Measurable Outcomes: Defined metrics for evaluation

Terms and Conditions
By submitting a proposal, applicants agree to the terms outlined in this RFP. The Stoller Foundation reserves the right to:
- Accept or reject any proposal, regardless of alignment with stated criteria
- Request additional information, clarifications, or meetings during the evaluation process
- Fund only parts of a proposal or suggest modifications
- Request a follow-up report any time after receiving the award
- Only consider nonprofits that have NOT received funding from the Stoller Foundation in the past and have not been declined
