In Issan, Thailand, many locals, especially the elderly, had never encountered the gospel, and illiteracy made them believe evangelism was impossible. During a ‘1 Lead 2’ evangelism training, two participants who were elderly and illiterate discovered a simple method: asking others to read the gospel aloud to them. As they practiced, they witnessed people responding to the message of the Gospel for the first time. Since then, these elders have shared the gospel daily, leading over 30 people to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, inspiring their community, and demonstrating that God’s work transcends limitations.
