Maverick felt empty and purposeless, working as a carpenter after high school and struggling with the monotony of daily life while longing for meaning and direction. Through a friend’s invitation, he attended the Alpha course, exploring who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him. In a safe, welcoming environment, he wrestled with questions about faith, life, and purpose. While reading John 4, Maverick surrendered his life to Jesus, believing in Him as Savior and Lord. Since that moment, Maverick has been baptized, living fully for Christ and sharing His love while growing in faith within his church community.

Alpha’s mission is to equip and serve the church in its mission to help people discover and develop a relationship with Jesus. Our vision is the evangelization of the nations, the revitalization of the church, and the transformation of society.
