Colby came to Boathouse for the first time, not knowing Jesus. A volunteer prayed quietly for him, and later another followed him to the parking lot where Colby admitted, “I think God spoke to me for the first time tonight.” There, he heard the gospel and surrendered his life to Jesus. The next week, Colby brought three friends, and two of them—Jonathan and Tristan—also gave their lives to Christ. From one invitation, three young men began walking with Jesus, showing how God is moving powerfully among college-age young adults in East Texas.

Boathouse Ministries begins with evangelism, equipping volunteers and leaders to boldly share the Gospel with college-age adults through personal relationships, weekly gatherings, and small group discipleship. Based in Tyler, TX, Boathouse is a non-denominational ministry that reaches hundreds of 18–25 year-olds each week, offering biblical teaching, worship, and authentic community to lead them into a lifelong relationship with Jesus.
