At just 7-years-old, Mercy carried the weight of a large tumor on her forehead. She often felt uncomfortable struggling with judgement, leaving her discouraged and uncertain about her future. After arriving at CURE Uganda, Mercy underwent surgery and began hearing Bible stories during chapel. Through worship and prayer, she discovered God’s love and believed that Jesus was with her, even in difficult times. Her new faith in Jesus brough her peace and hope. Today, Mercy has returned home and to school. She dreams of becoming a doctor and encourages others at her community to trust God through their own challenges.
