Yombi was a young missionary in east Cameroon who felt his ministry was not successfully engaging with his community. In the midst of these challenges, his own family struggled with unsafe drinking water… then, along came Filter of Hope that provided him with a water filter, encouraging him to use it as a tool to share the message of the Gospel with his neighbors. As people gathered to receive clean water, Yombi shared the good news of Jesus. Soon after, 48 women and children believed in Jesus and accepted him as Savior. Today, Yombi continues to share the hope of Jesus, discipling new believers to boldly share their faith in the community. His community is now experiencing clean water and the hope and transformation that Jesus gives.

Through a small, durable water filter, we offer a simple yet powerful solution to the global water crisis, supplying families with up to 250 gallons of clean water daily for 10 years. Even greater is the filter’s effectiveness in visually presenting the Gospel.
