Before coming to the Dream Center, Shawn’s family faced deep instability and homelessness. When his parents decided to leave the program and placed his younger brothers with relatives, Shawn was left with no plan and little hope for his future. Through the Teen Discipleship program, Shawn experienced love, stability, and the truth of the Gospel. Within a month, he surrendered his life to Jesus and was baptized. Today, Shawn thrives as a leader in ROTC, prepares for a career in welding, and mentors other teens by sharing the same hope and transformation he found in Jesus.

At the H-Town Dream Center, sharing the Gospel is at the core of everything we do across our three pillars: Feeding the Hungry, House of Hope, and Educating At-Risk Youth (NXT GEN). Each staff member is fully equipped to incorporate faith into every interaction.
