Simin lost her child in a car accident near Shiraz and sank into deep despair, spending hours each day weeping at the cemetery, filled with grief and hatred. One afternoon she found a package in her mailbox—a book with the handwritten words: “God is love and the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases.” At the cemetery, she opened the book and began to read. To her surprise, it brought comfort and peace, something she had not felt since her loss. Simin called the number inside the book and connected with a kind woman who prayed with her and shared about Jesus. As she continued reading the New Testament, her heart grew thirsty for more. Three weeks later, at her son’s grave, Simin invited Jesus into her life, forgave the driver who had killed her child, and was filled with a new joy. Soon after, her husband also came to faith. Today, they lead a small home church and ask for prayers for its growth. Simin’s life has turned from sorrow and hatred to joy and hope in Christ—sharing His love with her family and community.

Our desire is to help our believers grow deeper in their faith and love for others through teaching and discipleship, while also casting the vision for them to increasingly prioritize putting out more nets, to pull in more Persian Farsi-speaking fish.
