Bruce had known about God for years but lived as if He were far away. When he first entered Manna House, he resisted and did not trust in the program, leading to defiant behaviors. One Christmas, a severe ankle injury left Bruce in the hospital for over a month. In that quiet season of recovery, he encountered God in a new way. While wrestling with his doubts, Bruce decided to trust in Jesus and surrendered his life to Him. Since then, Bruce has completed the New Start Program and now works as a ministry intern, serving and inspiring other to also trust in Jesus.
Manna House exists solely for the purpose of helping men get free from their bondage of addiction through practical, clinical, and biblical transformative curriculum and by introducing them to a relationship with Jesus Christ. The Manna House has created an intensive 12-month program that, increases accountability, trains men in practical living, and promotes discipleship reproduction that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. This will equip the residents to become leaders in their homes and communities.
