Before encountering Christ through medical missions, many in Faith Lelei’s rural community only knew healthcare as physical treatment. Yet needs for hope, peace, and spiritual care remained unmet in the face of suffering. Through the National Scholars Program, Dr. Faith was equipped to blend medical care with sharing the gospel. In her work, she often prays with patients and shares about Christ’s love. One memorable moment came with a nine-year-old patient facing the end of his life. Despite his illness, he believed in Jesus and found peace in Him, joyfully anticipating meeting his Lord. Today, Faith’s ministry continues to heal bodies, strengthen believers, and transform her community.
