Chevonne was born and raised in Houston, TX. She started her college education at USL in Lafayette, LA, and later graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BS in Health and a minor in Psychology. While attending Sam Houston she met her husband, Aaron, and later moved to Houston. In 2000, Chevonne started her non-profit career at the YMCA as the Youth and Teen Program Director. After going back to her background and interest in health, Chevonne started working at Bering Omega Community Services as the Day Treatment Director for people with HIV/AIDS. After becoming a mom and wanting to be closer to home, she helped open the first Nabor House Community in Cypress, TX, an initiative of the Stoller Foundation. She currently works as the General Accountant and Grant Associate for Stoller Foundation. She loves working in the nonprofit world where she knows she is making a difference.

Chevonne and her husband, Aaron, have two teenage girls and live in the Cypress area. She is a member of Cypress Family Church and enjoys volunteering. In her spare time, she loves enjoying her “patio time” with her husband, watching her daughters play sports, and doing anything in the sun, especially hanging out with their German Shepherd, Vincent.
